Indianapolis woke up yesterday to an eighth inch of ice over everything yesterday. It made skating the kids to the car before church an adventure, and I’m none too happy about my concussion.

After church I was going to head to the gym to get a workout in, but my headphones were in my truck. No big deal, I walk to my street parked truck to get them out. As I’m reaching for the passenger door handle, my foot lands on the edge of the curb. Before I know what’s happening, my feet are gone and I’m bouncing the back of my head off the curb.

Mild concussion, and one hell of a headache. I’m so ready for this winter to be over.

That sucks. As a multi-concussion individual I recommend not hitting your head for a bit. One bad impact is okay recovery-wise. But that second thump can really make life shitty for a while. Hope you feel better soon.

haha some geese used to crap in my driveway, i chased them until they were afraid to go in my yard. Unfortunately for them, the speed limit on that street was 45 mph. Duck duck goose mother fucker.

Yow, that sucks! Went to college in Champaign IL, and can confirm that ice is much worse than snow. Hope the noggin is better fast-

Ice is what shuts down the south when it “snows”. I badly damaged my car because it was starting to get icy outside. No matter how strong your car is for the elements, it can’t handle ice. I hope you feel better.
